This is a super cute tea pot. In addition to it's eye appeal it is very user friendly. As an avid tea drinker I put pots through their paces and if it doesn't pour well or make a good pot... back it goes! This pot pours very well. It says it is drip free, however, I find it drips some. The basket is pretty fine mesh and if you drink a finer tea you will have floaties. On the positive side the floaties remain at the bottom and if you don't drain the pot... you don't get them in your cup. Yay! My only problem with the basket is design. Trying to remove the basket as is earns toasted fingers. I've added a string to the basket handle so I can pull the string to get the basket out. The string allows the lid to set on the top (not secured-as the knob gets hot too) while it steeps. The feet fit well over the Amsterdam warmers but other warmers may not fare so well. This pot (using with a warmer) really keeps tea piping hot! I am enjoying my new pot and I hope you will too!
