This filter works better than the perforated spoon or ball filters. It allows the hot water to suspend the tea particles for better infusion. One doesn't have to brew as long to achieve full flavor, thus preventing bitterness. Also, the mesh is fine enough to filter completely, leaving no dregs in the pot or cup.

This infuser is made of micro-fine stainless steel mesh that has been super heated to take on a golden tone. Filter basket allows ample room for tea leaves to expand.
