A few more comments for those who are just starting to explore the heaven of loose tea. Irish Cream tea is the perfect tea to 'get your feet wet' if you're hesitant to start off too exotic, but would like to discover a delightful twist on the traditional. It is wonderfully creamy and lovely. If you ARE hesitant to try the 'exotic', when it comes to tea, my rule is.. DON'T be hesitant. Try anything and everything. You'll be glad you did. I've sampled a couple teas that I didn't really think would be my... 'cup of tea' :), but they turned out to be a beloved favorite. Learning how to make proper tea is not nearly as tricky as you may think, and before too long you'll wonder what you ever did without teatime. The Culinary Teas website offers lots of good instruction to get you on your way. One of the best things about tea, particularly the flavored teas is that they give you the blissful feeling of rich indulgence. You have desert with a tiny fraction of the calories and many health benefits. What could be better than feeling like you're being naughty, but you're really not? My advice is to treat yourself at least once a day. Get your neighbors, friends and coworkers together for tea. Spread the 'love of the leaf' to help reverse the effects of the Boston Tea Party, so that we may soon re-crown tea as America's most loved drink again! :)

This tea really captures the sweet creaminess of Irish Cream. A spot of milk opens up the flavor. Perfect in the morning but great any time.
